STEP ONE: Setup Event

When you first log in to yourpickAtime, accountyou'll from the pickAtime home page, you will beland in the Admin tool and on the Event Reports page.


Steps to Create a New Event

  1. Select the Events / Preview button onfrom the AdminUI sidebar (left side). sidebar.
  2. Click on the green Add button.
  3. Enter a name for your event,event for example,e.g., "Summer Camp Registration”,Registration or Swimming Lessons"Lessons.
  4. Select the typeevent oftype: ROSTERRoster.
  5. Select the Template event Roster Event, template, or use a previous Roster-type event as your template if you have previouslyyou've used eventsone with type Roster.before.
  6. Select the appropriate time zone for your event location.
  7. Optionally,(Optional) you can add theAdd Date and Location fields, which are labels used tothat help parents differentiate between multiple events on yourthe landing page.

    Field Details Date This is aA text label,label, not a system-driven calendar. If your event spans severalmultiple days, you can list them all here (e.g., "Oct 12-12–14"), or leave the fieldit blank.

    TheLocation Location Field: Useful iffor you are managingdistinguishing events across multiple campuses or facilities.

    Adding Event Details

    Use the Event Details box on the screen to fill in anyadd event-specific information thatyou'd you may wantlike to usedisplay inon the display of your scheduler or in your emails for this event. Any text that you addinclude in theemails.

    You can useinsert this macro into your CUI Messages or Notification Setup templates to automatically pull in yourthis CUI Messages or in your Notification Setup. The macro for the Event Details is $(E_DESCRIPTION).
