How do teams work?

A team can be simplyeither:

When

Double-booking protection: The system automatically prevents a teamteacher from being booked twice at the same time, even across different teams or roles.

Example 1 — Shared teacher across two teams: If "Andrea Smith" is createdon byboth combiningTeam teachers,A the system ensures that the teacher can not be double booked. For example, if you have team "(Andrea Smith; Barbara Zook"Zook) and teamTeam "B (Andrea Smith; Bob Jones"Jones), whenbooking a time slot is booked with teamTeam "Andrea Smith; Barbara Zook" the systemA automatically blocks out the corresponding slot for "Team B.

Example 2 — Individual + team overlap: If Andrea Smith;Smith Boband Jones."Barbara

OrOption you2: can combine yourCombine teachers into a team after you have imported your data. To do so, you would do the following: import

1. Go intoto the Class Editor
2. Select/ Add Teacher/Team ->/ Add Team.
3. In the Select Person dialog box that displays,dialog, search for and click onselect the first teacher you would like on your team,teacher, then click on the 'Add to Team'Team button(top-left oncorner).

Repeat for the Selectsecond Person pop-up window in the top left corner. Then search and click on the 2nd teacher you would like in the team, then click on the 'Add to Team' button. teacher.
