Date Location Option

The Date Location option providesadds aday-by-day layer of granularity that is perfectflexibility for multi-date events where— useful when details shiftlike room, instructor, or service specifics change depending on the day.date.

Where to Find It

Go to the Appointments page. The Date Location input field is located directly below the Calendar on the Appointments page. It is an option for Normal event types only. calendar.

Practical Use Cases

This field is designed to handlehandles "exceptions to the rule" for a specific date, without requiring you to create entirelya separate event types.type:

  • Variable Roomroom Assignments:assignments If— e.g., a seminar moves from "Room A" on Monday to "The Auditorium" on Wednesday, you can specify this for each individual date.Wednesday

Displaying This Info with the Macro

To ensure your participants seeshow this date-specific information, you must link the input fieldtext to yourparticipants, emails and set up usinginsert the macro field.$(D_LOCATION) into your scheduling page text and/or email templates.

  2. Go to the Text View / Box Message section..
  3. Insert $(D_LOCATION) into your message template.

How to Implement on yourIn Email Notifications page:Notifications:

  1. NavigateGo to the Settings / Notification Setup page..
  2. Insert $(D_LOCATION) into your message templatetemplate.

Example Template:template:

Your appointment is confirmed for $(DATE). Location/Note: $(D_LOCATION)"

When the message is sent, the system$(D_LOCATION) will automatically replacebe the macroreplaced with the specific text you entered in that field for that specific date.
