Scheduling Parent Apppointments in the Admin UI
Administrators can manually book appointments for parents through the Appointments tab. Follow these steps to ensure the booking is correctly attributed.
1.Step 1: Navigate to the Schedule
Access the Tab:Click the Appointments tab at the top of the Admin UI.Set the Date:Use the calendar on theleft-hand sideleft to select thespecific day of the event.date.Select the
Teacher:Choose the teacher's nameteacher from the list on the right to load theirspecificschedule.
2.Step 2: Select a Time Slot
Locate the desired time on the teacher's schedule.
Click the
GreengreenPlusplusSignsign (+) inthe timethat slot. The Select Personpop-updialog willshow up.open.
3.Step 3: Identify or Create the Parent Contact
You must link the appointment to a parentparent. contact.Choose Youone canof eitherthe find an existing user or create a one-time entry:following:
Option A: Search for an Existingexisting Parentparent
Type the parent's name (or the first few letters) into the search bar.
Select the correct name from the results
liston the left.Review
the contacttheir details on the right toensureconfirm accuracy, then click OK.
Option B: Create a Newnew Contactcontact
If the parent
is notisn't found, enter their First Name, Last Name, and Email Address in the fields on the left.Click
theAdd>→ Parent...buttonto add them to your database.Click OK to proceed.
4.Step 4: Finalize the Appointment
TheOnce a parent is selected, the Create Appointment window will appear once a parent is selected.appear.
Enter
Student Name:Typethe student's name in the designatedfield.fieldThis—isthiscrucial fortells the teacherto knowwhich student the meeting concerns.Save:Click OK tofinalize the booking.save. The slot will nowappearshow as occupied on the schedule.
