Creating Parent Appointments

Making Parent Appointments

  1. Select the Appointments tab and use the calendar on the left to choose the correct day.
  2. On the right-hand side, click Select Student and locate the student. All teachers associated with that student will be listed.
  3. Click the green plus sign in the time slot you'd like to book.
  4. Select the correct parent from the pull-down list (if multiple parents are found).
  5. If the student is enrolled in more than one class, select the correct class, then click OK.

The appointment box will now display the parent's and student's names.

If the appointment has a red border: Click on it to view the error message shown below the calendar. From here, either click Cancel Appointment to remove it, or click Confirm Appointment to force the booking and clear the red highlighting.


Other Appointment Options

Click on any existing appointment on the Appointments page, then open the Appointments drop-down to access:

Option What it does
Confirm Appointment Confirms a flagged (red) problem appointment
Cancel Appointment Cancels the appointment, with the option to send a cancellation email
Edit Appointment Edits appointment-specific details (e.g., custom fields collected from parents)
Change Time Moves the appointment to a new time
Send Reminder Sends a reminder email to the parent
Customer Info Opens the Contact Information dialog for the parent

Other Appointment Options

On the Appointments page, you can click on an existing appointment. Select the Appointments drop-down to see the following options: 

  • Confirm Appointment  - this will be enabled if you have clicked on a red problem appointment and will allow you to confirm the problem appointment. 
  • Cancel Appointment - will allow you to cancel the appointment and optionally send a cancellation email.
  • Edit Appointment - will allow you to edit the appointment details for an appointment. For example, if you were prompting your parents for additional appointment-specific information, you would be able to edit it here. 
  • Change Time - will allow you to move the appointment to a new time. 
  • Send Reminder - will send a reminder email to the parent.
  • Customer Info - will bring up the Contact Information dialog box for the parent.
