How do I create a tab-delimited text file? 

If you're usingUsing Microsoft Excel:

2. Open the File menu and select the Save as.As... command..
3. In the Save as type drop-down box, select the Text (tab-delimited) (*.txt) option.

Select the Save as typebutton. drop-down, select Text (Tab-delimited) (*.txt). Click Save. If you see warning messages popappear, up,click select the OK or Yes button. .
